The chocolate candy called “Niemetz Mozart Polsterl” are only available in one of those Niemetz coffee houses. Niemetz coffee houses are located two times in Linz and one time in Salzburg.
Polster means “cushion” in English.
The candy is coated with dark chocolate and filled with luxurious hazelnutcream which is additionally mounted with raisins.

Dangerous good! Cafe Niemetz in Salzburg (behind the Pferdeschwemme, opposite the end of the Hofstallgasse, and near the Festival office) is well worth a visit anyway for the delicious coffee and cakes, but the takeaway Pölsterl are not to be missed. Like a chocolate-truffle-brick packing a punch with the raisins steeped in wine liqueur. Highly addictive!
