The Inzersdorfer company was founded as first Austrian military canning factory in 1873.
The annexation of Bosnia five years later was the first war in which the Inzersdorfer bread spreads were deployed. From that time the “Balkan Bread Spread” might have its origin.
Inzersdorfer Bread Spread consits of pork, bacon, onions, bacon rinds, and paprika. The spicy taste and the divine aroma have delighted the soldiers of Austrias imerial and royal army in the same way like savourers today.
